About Joanne Hansen

When my aging parents needed my help with their medical needs, I learned everything I could about Medicare and the programs available. I’m insatiably curious, always wanting to find the answers!

After that, I realized that I could use all this knowledge to help others – and I’ve been doing just that for the past ten years. Now I speak regularly at educational workshops and seminars to senior groups about the how-to’s of applying for and making the most of Medicare Advantage and Supplement plans.

I’m a wife, mother of four and grandmother of six. When I’m not working, I can be found baking pastries, crafting art projects and hosting family gatherings.

I’m also perpetually in search of the best recipe to complete my yearly holiday boxed cookies collection.
